Getting Started with Cliff

Welcome to Cliff! This tutorial will guide you through deploying your first AI model to an edge device in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Cliff account (sign up at trycliff.com)
  • An edge device running Linux (ARM or AMD architecture)
  • Basic familiarity with command line

Step 1: Create Your Account

First, create your Cliff account by visiting the sign up page. Once you've created your account, you'll be taken to the dashboard.

Step 2: Register Your Device

To register your edge device:

  • Navigate to the Devices page in your dashboard
  • Click Register New Device
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Cliff agent on your device
  • Your device will appear in the device list once connected

Step 3: Deploy Your First Model

Now that your device is registered:

  • Go to the Models page
  • Select a pre-built model or upload your own
  • Click Deploy and select your device
  • Wait for the deployment to complete

Step 4: Monitor Your Deployment

Once deployed, you can:

  • View real-time status on the dashboard
  • Check device logs
  • Monitor performance metrics
